Credit history:
- pay before the bill is generated: don't pay the entire amount, just big ones. Keep 1-2% for sum of all of credit cards: > 1%, <10% across all credit cards
- inc limit
- use it for loans rather than credit cards (even car leases require a credit history): don't go below 730.
- Pay utility bills on time
- always keep your credit card on autopay
- Have app ready
- turn on all alerts: if catch fraud within 24h, bank is liable.
If loans needed for >6 months time, go for credit card now
Apply for Chase first (5 - 24 limit: 5 cards in 24 months) first, Uber 2nd
Apply together.
Taking loan is good. 2nd becomes better.
